Sigrid’s a Flagstone local through and through, grew up here, and never really wanted to be anywhere else. Happiest with a coffee in hand, or checking the weather, and a good laugh with whoever’s in her chair. Creative, a little cheeky, and always up for a chat, she believes the best hair days start with genuinely good vibes.

Brooke
Brooke’s a quiet soul at first, but give her one appointment and she’ll be chatting away, asking a billion questions about your life. Equally happy with a silent appointment if that’s more your style (plenty of her clients pop in to get work done, and she’s all for it). Disney fan, Lego lover, never without a can of Coke. You’ll often find her whizzing around the salon with her shadow, Whiskey, in tow.

Scarlett
Scarlett’s outgoing, a little unfiltered, and always up for a good laugh. She got into hairdressing through her love of art and creativity, and it shows — she’s drawn to vivid colours, subtle blondes, and styling with texture and movement. She’s also the salon’s resident 2K queen, keeping Brooke and Sigrid young at heart. More than the finished look though, she loves the chats and connection that come with every appointment — because for Scarlett, a great appointment is as much about the laughs as it is the hair.

Golden Lab · Part-time Greeter
Bailey
Meet Bailey — Hair & BS’s part-time golden lab (4 days a week) and full-time greeter. He’ll meet you at the door with a wagging bum and a serious case of demanding pats (fair warning: give in, and you’re going home covered in Bailey fur). Beyond his salon duties, Bailey’s got a big job on the side — he’s part of Empowered Assistance Dogs, breeding the next generation of guide and therapy dogs on his “dirty weekends” away.
Sausage Dog · Head of Security
Whiskey
Meet Whiskey — Hair & BS’s sausage dog and self-appointed Head of Security, working full-time (5 days a week, late nights included). He’s a rescue, so he can be shy and quiet at first — but ignore him too long and he’ll let you know about it. Loiter outside the shop too long and you’ll cop a warning bark (he doesn’t miss a thing). Beyond his security duties, Whiskey’s got a soft side too: sit down at the basin for a wash and he’ll hop straight up on your lap for some pats — and after 5:30pm, forget the floor, he’s strictly a lap dog from there on out.
Border Collie · Fridays Only
Suki
Meet Suki — Hair & BS’s Border Collie and Friday-only employee, with more energy than the sun itself. Fridays are her time to shine: greeting everyone with pure excitement, dominating a game of tug-of-war, and showing off her many tricks (especially if there’s a treat involved). She’s never met a stranger — Suki loves making new friends just as much as seeing the regulars — and once the work day’s done, you’ll usually find her at the dog park with her besties. Known around the salon by more names than most (Suki Friday, Suki Sunflower, Suki Sunbloomers — take your pick), her cheeky personality and endless enthusiasm make her a very important part of the team.
